He was incredibly generous with his time and offered to freeze our fillets. What fab service - do chose this operator if you want a fun and useful experience.

The guide also knew the area well and told also about the history of the area and also about the myths considering the area. Trollfjord was also a nice place to visit and we lucky during the trip and also saw some whales for quite close.
All in all best activity on our trip.

We rent kayaks to freely explore Solvaer by the sea. They gave us some tips regarding the surroundings and thanks to them we had a great time. Before leaving, Johannes... read more gave us some fish he hunt. They were very delicious. Thank you very much.
august 18, 2021We were a family of eight persons (five from Hamburg, Germany; two from Bretagne, France, and one from Trondheim, Norway) who had booked a fishing trip (four hours) with Go2Lofoten... read more during the Lofoten fisheries.
It turned out to be an unforgettable and spectacular event. Not only did we catch enough fish for the rest of our stay in Lofoten - five days (most "små-sei" (small saithe/ pollock) but also a couple of "Skrei" "pregnant cod !" of "reasonable" size , but we also learned from the skipper how to bleed, gutt, and fillet the fish.
Finally, we also got the opportunity to see the professional fishermen "in action" (NB In Norway, women are now also professionals!), setting their nets etc. And we were lucky to observe a sea eagle! The weather was unusually cold, but blue sky, quiet sea and with the suites provided by Go2Lofoten we were warm....

We can highly recommend go2lofoten for a fishing trip. On the way out (about 1-1.5h) the guide told us a lot of interessting facts about lofoten and the fishery. He... read more found then really nice places to fish where everybody on the boat could catch a lot of pollack, sometimes even big fishes too! Everyone had his own fishing rod and he showed us how to fish (really beginner friendly). Before we headed back he showed us how to filet the fish, so we could prepare our dinner on the way back to svolvaer :). In the end we were on the sea over 5 hours instead of the booked 3 hours trip (guide asked us at the beginning if we are flexible with the time). The pollack fish was delicious :). …

The service and knowlegde from the crew... read more was impeccable and the hole experience is one of the most memorable expeditions we have had in Lofoten. We all got fish,that certainly topped the tour and we all learned how to gut fish. The boat has a lot of history with much space. Thank's a lot to the crew at Go2Lofoten! We highly reccomend others in Lofoten to use Go2lofoten for a fish expedition or rib safari.
